How to Know If Your Iguana Needs Emergency Care

Accidents happen. This is especially true if you share your home with a four-legged animal. You know you need to take your pet to the vet if there’s an emergency, but how do you know if your pet truly needs emergency care?

Sometimes, it’s obvious, and sometimes it’s not. For example, if you suspect that your pet broke his arm, it’s a good idea to visit the vet. But what if your pet is just a bit lethargic?

You know your pet best, so if something doesn’t seem right, you should probably visit the vet. Symptoms like bleeding, coughing, pain, and eye injuries deserve attention right away.

Some symptoms can wait a bit. If your pet seems a bit more tired or weak than usual, you can give it a day or two before you call in.

To put your mind at ease, it’s always a good idea to call your veterinarian Indianapolis, IN if you’re worried. Or set an appointment at this link:
