Tired of dealing with dog hair? If it’s all over your carpets, on your bedding, and in your food, you’ve probably had enough! But, there are other places where pet hair can lurk, including on your plants.
Pet hair makes your plants less attractive, but that’s not all. It can actually affect their health. If dust, dander, and dog hair are allowed to settle on the leaves, they can actually reduce your plant’s ability to photosynthesize.
This is a fairly easy problem to fix. Smooth leaves can be wiped with a damp paper towel, while rough leaves can be wiped with a tissue or a dry wash rag. Plan to clean off the leaves of your plants at least once a month.
