Ragdolls and Living in Wooded Areas

Do you live in an area that is heavily wooded or on the edge of forest or preservation land? If so then your area could be often visited by large overhead flying hawks and other wildlife predators that may try and snatch your feline friend away from you. It’s not recommended that you allow your Ragdoll or other cants outside especially overnight if you live in a forested area. If your cat does go out for the day, make it a routine to bring her in just before dusk. If your cat is an inside cat, make sure your windows are closed and screen doors are secure so that she doesn’t accidentally sneak out when you’re away. If you take her outside, stay with her at all times and bring her back in with you. These little extra steps of precaution can help keep your cat from harm.
