Tips for Keeping Your Cat’s Food Away from Your Dog

Many dogs will eat anything and everything in sight. That can be dangerous, but it can also be annoying too, especially to the other animals in your home. How do you keep your dog from eating your cat’s food?

Don’t feed your cat and dog next to each other. If their bowls are near each other, your dog will be tempted to go in for a quick snack. Place your cat’s bowl somewhere else, preferably where your dog isn’t allowed.

It’s also a good idea to feed your cat portions that are measured in the morning and in the evening. If your cat eats all his food, there won’t be any left behind for your dog to snack on!

You can also pick the bowl up whenever your cat is done eating. For more feeding tips, call professional vets Richardson, TX.
